Prefabricated Log Home Kits
Wild West Log Homes offers a variety of Prefabricated Log Home Kits. Unlike Log Home Packages, kits are design so that the consumer can assemble the log structure themselves. All the materials and hardware required to assemble and finish the log structure come with the kit.
Log Homes Kits include the following:
- Log Walls (Standard at 10'-6" tall)
- House Logs available in a the styles of your choice
- Insulation of supplies
- Through bolt anchor system supplied
- Pre-drill and install 3/4" diameter through-bolts with timber washers
- Pre-drilling for electrical wire passages, switch and boxes
- Flatten log for face plates installation (switch, plug etc.)
- Window and door openings pre-cut and beveled
- Spline window and door openings to accept supplied angle iron
- Pinning & bolting around openings and panel walls as required
- Posts flattened to accept finish framing materials.
- Windows and doors.
- Second floor log floor joists
- Second floor double log beams
- Douglas Fir round log roof beams
- Douglas Log Roof Purlins
- Roof Logs pitch cut for roof framing
- Screw Jacks provided as directed by House Plan
- Prebuilt Log Trusses supplied if required
- Log Accent features available - ie 1/4 pie cut corner posts for Log Siding, Rustic Feature Posts, all styles of Log Trusses, Log Mantles, Log Counter Tops, etc.
- Log staircase and hand railing available
- Logs treated with protective anti-mildew/ fungicide deterrent available
